This GE profile microwave is probably the best microwave I've ever had it is easy to use I love the reheat feature it works extremely well I've had microwaves that just did not last I've always had whirlpool which have not been good at all but I've switched to GE products and I'm very pleased .

Our "vintage" GE microwave finally stopped heating. Couldn't find replacement. Called GE, they found the correct model for us so we purchased it from GE. Great transaction with the GE lady. MW came quickly. Had handyman install in less than an hour. It's amazing the interior keeps getting larger. Took we awhile to familiarize myself with the new controls, but fine now. Seems quieter. Heats our food perfectly. Thank you, GE. Love your products.

Replacement of an old Microwave.

We replaced a microwave that was purchased and installed in 2012. The push button had ceased to function so we needed a new one that was the same or close to the same dimensions. It arrived within 5 days but the only bummer is that once we tried to install it above the oven like the previous one we had to then purchase a framing kit that was designed for this microwave. The old one did not work. That added another $220 to the price of the microwave. Once that came in we installed it and it works fine.

Working as advertized after two years

I purchased my microwave oven in 2023. I have no complaints as to functionality. However, the numbers on the key pad have to be pushed really hard, unlike those on my new GE oven. As a consequence, the clear plastic film over the numbers has "bubbled"--separated from the base. Better technology is called for here.

Poor quality it™€™s my 1st GE brand microwave built in wall, but after 1 1/2 year it™€™s not working. I rarely used it once in while. Everything is good, but it won™€™t heat up the food.I think GE will fix the issue but they say they only give 1 year warranty.poor service. Won™€™t recommend. @ GE APPLIANCES

This microwave is our fourth GE Profile microwave in fourteen years. Original was a new home builtin installation. So far, all I can say is that this one works -- for now. The last one blew a fuse within the one year warranty and then the magnetron tube went out two weeks ago. Not really sure why we keep replacing with GE except that we're trying to match the builtin oven below.

Easy to use controls but lacking in some ways

Have had this microwave for almost a month. It replaced a 19 year old wall mounted unit that failed. I hope this GE unit lasts as long as the competitor's did.! So far so good. Although it is rated at 1100 watts it does not heat items as quickly as the 1000 watt oven it replaced. It was installed with the associated plastic wall trim kit. That kit is way overpriced and has waves in its surface. It looks cheaply made. The trim kit has open slots on all four sides for venting rather than through the front via a grill. Less expensive to manufacture I suppose. These venting gaps are ugly. GE calls the color white but it is really an off white. I find the touch panel easy to use but found it irritating that the operating instructions had to be downloaded from internet. That is inexcusable. All-in-all fairly satisfied but not of the quality of the unit it replaced.

Less than 2 years old and the product no longer heats. All fuses have checked out as working. Now I'm stuck buying a new one because of the trim kit. Wherever you buy this microwave, make sure you get the warranty. You will need it!

Poor web info about installation kit compatibility

Bought this microwave as a replacement for PEB7226DFWW. Very difficult to find the proper trim kit and after much research concluded that the old trim kit was compatible with the new unit. When received, found that the microwave wasn't compatible with the old trim kit due to a change in the base mount and slight changes to the dimensions. The GE website information on kit compatibility is terrible and very confusing, As a result, I had to order a new kit at substantial cost and a very high delivery charge. It would have been better to order a PEB7227DFWW which is still available but at a higher price.

Front door poor design

In use for 2 weeks now. Only issue - the design of the window in the door is poor; if you're going to have a window then one assumes you will be able to see through it to what is going on inside ... but, no, you can't. The window has a finish with a white design on it, obstructing your ability to view. Seems like the designers went for looks over function.
